I just picked up the Spiderman ZipZap Micro monster with the hop up motor kit. These crawl very well with the All-time 4WD and low gearing. Definitely a great micro rock crawler base truck. The light kit premounted in the body is really cool.

Oh, and does anyone know if the ZZ SE American Truck bodies will work on this chassis? I want to make sure before I go buy them. The Spiderman paintjob ain't doin much for me on the Hummer.....Might repaint it.

yep, its not the most prettyful body, but it could definatly be repainted. i cant remember if the american truck bodies fit... i want to think that i remember seeing a picture of them, but i am not certain. also, these are another great candidate fer the iwiaver guts... a while ago i had the throtle working propo, but the steering was still un-propo. it was great though, it could climb alot better, because it didnt flip from all the power.

these are definatly fun little thangs. lots of room to mod em, and the first 4wd 1/64.

Yeah, they do flip over too easy when climbing. I like pulling wheelies and spinning around on the tail! Thats always fun

i made a little track for mine. these things can climb a lot more than 35 degrees. i got mine with the yellow motor like at least 45 degrees. with the yellow motor they dont flip nearly as easy. i pretty sure all zz bodies fit. my audi tt body fit, so im sure the trucks will. its a lot tighter fit with the audi tt body in though. the motors are a must. these things are all right in dirt. i use a huge pile of pine neadles and that works a lot better than dirt for going in. their from my christmas tree. lol. later

Yeah, the motors do make a big difference. Right now I'm running the Orange High Speed motor with the Red Gears. Good take off speed and good climbing still. I also found some killer tires. I only have two, but they are knarly and I'm going to pick up another one of those NewBrite Jetski/Trailer thingys to steal the trailor tires. They're cooler than the RS Tire upgrade, and a little bit bigger than stock. They are very soft rubber compound two, lotta grip

Can't find a closeup pic of the tires, and my camara sucks. sorry

coo. i only got the tire upgrade because i had a 10 dollar cupon for 40 bucks, so i really got them for free. i dont really like the tire upgrade. there less aggressive than the stock tires. the swamp tirs are more of road tires almost. ill have to look into them tires. some tires from a wal mart truck i guess work good to and they have a direct fit. any one try taking out the driveshaft to make it 2 wheel dirve? i guess it goes faster and jumps better. but i like 4 wheel drive, so ill make it 2 when i get sick of this thing. later

heh, it would be easy-peasy to make it 2wd, i am quite sure. it was a while since i opened one up, but i think you could just remove the driveshaft, and the front drivetrain assembly.

i may get a new one of these in a day or two, which means i could mess with the old chassie. .

Yeah, the tire upgrade isn't that impressive, but I wanted chrome rims They could've made the TSLs a little more aggressive, they do look like really worn out swampers......I never shoulda bought this thing in the first place....Im hooked on the 1/64 cars now....I'm gettin an SE in a few days now

Yeah one of our members (Hiroto) changed his real good.......

He added wheel arch fairs, gear protectors,
and custom paint. We've been doing a lot
with these since they hit the market. I've
yet to get one, maybe soon

And Yes the SE Truck bodies look damn good on these!
CrazyDave: Jeep (not an SE but.......)

BioHazzard: SE Body with the extras

BioHazzard took a Mercedes Cast body and.........

Yes they do Articulate !

And his Hummer.........

Hachi did this one just before he shipped out to Iraq......

So as you can see we do a lot with these MT's. Cruise on thru........
