If you buy the Kit/MT12 engine combo (like I have), then I'd say yes it is faster than a stock RTR rc10gt with the AE .15
Now if you put the same MT12 in a rc10gt they would be just about the same speed

Is it better than a GT?
I think so, it handles better than my FT GT did.

How fast does it go?
I never clocked mine,,I don't know,, but it's just as fast as any other truck with a good .12 engine
