I'm with 2d, need to see these babies race before I shell out the dough. Man though's tires and wheels would be about a $100.00 mistake if you can't get the firm foams to go in them.

Thanks Richard, it is nice to have someone from LOSI to share info. Their web site is a waste of time for anyone who owns one of their rigs. They have to come here to get any real help.

Later.

Nice

I'd prefer it without the fake 'halfords' bead locks

that sidewall is pretty thick i was kinda hoping losi would bring out something similar to the xtm brt-1s and pentos

We're on the same page here. I like the size and strength of the XTM GunMetal Pentos. If the BRT1's had a smaller sidewall, perhaps a profile of 20 (20 Series) and some super stiff foams then that would be the perfect setup. There's a lot of sidewall on that tire above and I would have to see it run to be convinced. I'm sure they know what they are doing though and it may just suprise me!!

Are those fake beadlocks plastic???

No offense intended about the fake beadlock remark, personally i just dont like to see 2 fast 2 furiius style bolt on parts that add nothing to the truck other than looks, each to his own though

And i do appreciate the sneak peaks and 'insider'information that you bring to the board rich

personal website vs losis website - nope dont see the connection, i think losi's website [should be] on a *bit* of a bigger scale and be good. its quite poor actually.

although yes that previous comment was a bit rude its the truck im bothered about really. not much else matters

My only point was you can get a point across without being rude.Of course my sarcasm might have come off a bit rude while trying to make my point but wasn't my intent.

Yes I agree our website sucks...right now. A little background. The site was built about 11 or 12 years ago. I was given the task literally overnight to take it over with zero experience. I was doing the Team Manager job and when time allowed updated the site. I took a 6 hour class in Frontpage and then took over. Lately my responsibilities have moved on to doing stuff with the engineering dept etc and for the last 4 months have been working on anything but the website. I will finally have time to work on the site a little while the Horizon Web team is working on a new site we hope to have up soon. Trust me it is very frustrating, but it will all come around soon. Thanks for your patience

Have the Tires gone into production yet? Will there be any white wheels, to dye, for the stock or new race tires? I noticed on Adma's truck he has black Magneto rims possible got them before chroming or removed the chrome?

Sorry it's going to be some time still, We are testing to see which compound we will be selling them, plus the molds need to be engraved and we need to make sure the mold works perfect etc. There are no plans to release any of the rims in other colors right now, but they're maybe a chance for the white dish wheels, but that has not been decided.

Whatever you do, DONT make them out of the same compound as the ZOMBIE MAXX tire. Those tires are soo soft, and they change shape drastically under hard cornering. What would be a rough estimate on those new tires? 3 months? 6 months?
