I know you are right guys, but each case is different. I don't live in USA an electric helis are almost non existent around here, the only one I have saw is the Kyosho m24, nitros are the only one that count here. That means that if I make a mistake choosing a heli or crash it and need repairs I simply can not walk to the nearest hobby store, even shipp the heli back to USA can cost me more that the heli itself.

Anyway as usual is very interesting to hear your opinions. Thanks, by the way I'm 39 years old and I hope to lear to fly helis a litle before my 40th birthday.

Something i don't know how to make work is junk.....to me.........most of these heli's are just fine and need some understanding of proper setup. I'm sure hirobo costs more because of more precice quality control standards. I have a dragon fly that i couldn't get off the ground untill i went back to basics of heli setup.........the only thing these helis need is a decent instructions manual. The only things i have changed on my FP dragonfly is to lipo's and larger pencil shaped motor direct drive instead of gear drive tail rotor. I also put on a set of Kyoso blades cuz my hobby shop was out of stock blades........made a huge improvement in stability due to higher rotor speed but cut flight times down a bit. Every thing in life is a trade off........

YOU CANT HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO UNLESS YOU ONLY EAT HALF OF IT........COMPROMISE

BALL LINKS THAT ARE TOO TIGHT ARE THE MOST COMMON CAUSE OF HELI PROBLEMS. I was at our field yesterday and a guy was flying a hirobo shuttle 30 size he's been having tail hunting problems for some time now the prob is less but still there his ball links are looser than b4 hence less trouble..he still has trouble with left right control at times ....one of his aileron ball liks was real tight the othe loose eg just right i have told him numerous times that he can really improve hi response and acuracy of control by daeling with this problem.........the same applies to micro helis my dragon fly had real tight ball links so i made a set from cutting block material taht were way loose and my heli response increased dramaticlally. As soon as i get my new esky honey bee 2 the first thing i will do is loosen the links and get set up perfect..............then to save on repairs costs off to a field of tall grass with a board for a landing pad. Crashing in tall grass never seems to hurt these helis at all .... kind of like a big feather pillow top crash into///he he a heli air bag.

Guys the XRB is truly, fly right out of the box. While you should trim and track everything to make it fly good, it will fly right out of the box. The only trade off in the XRB vs a Single rotor head FP is perhaps maneuverability. I still think the XRB is as capable as any other FP heli indoors.

If you dont believe me that its capable, see my video thats posted under "Hirobo XRB Pics!!! and build info". Its short and not very good quality, but you'll see that the XRB is a very capable little machine. All this in a fly out of the box heli, combined with the fact that a new flyer should be able to hover it fairly well within 15-30 min after he gets it, is in my opinion OUTSTANDING.
