I have the engine on order for my corsair, and was wondering what prop would you recommend? And, what size fuel tank should I get for a comfortable 10-12 minutes of fly time?

Hi Dave...

You may want to drop Dub or Dennis a note directly on this one just for conformation.

I believe you will also be running the Turbo-Jett muffler with this.
The 90T should run around 10 - 12K rpm with this set up. I would start out running an APC 13x6, and then work up to a 14x6 after the engine has run a bit.

At 11,000 rpm, you can expect about 1.25 ounce per minute at full throttle. I would expect that a 16oz tank should work pretty well to get you a solid 10 min.

I hope this is the info you are looking for.

Perfect.

Just what I wanted on the props, and yes I will be using a In-Cowl muffler with the engine.

I was hoping I could sneak by with a 14oz tank as it fits better with the battery up front, and I think I will need the extra nose weight. I think I will bench run it a few tanks to see if I can get away with 14oz.

Thanks,.

Any time Dave

I would imagine you could get away with 14 oz over 10 minutes without much of a problem, since you will likely not be running at full throttle all of the time.

But...then again... you are a pylon guy like me
