tomorrow is correct. Here's a riddle some of you might get, if you know the reference.

"what do I have in my pocket?"

ok... here's the answer to mine:

..--o-o-o
...\...../|
....o..o.o
......X...|
....o..o.o
.../.....\|

ignore the periods. they're there to fill up space otherwise the system messes up the alignment.

$0.25

$0.025 + ($0.025+$1.00) = $1.05

.05 dive by 2, u get 0.025 ( 0.025+0.025=0.05 ) 0.05 + 1.00 = 1.05

The answer is 2.5 cents "A" cork.

To dumb it down, "If a bottle and a cork cost $1.05" bottle is $1 right? "What would be the cost of the cork?" 0.025, They never said how many corks. They said "If a bottle and a cork cost $1.05 and the bottle cost $1.00 more than the cork, What would be the cost of the cork" 2.5cents "A" Cork!

He said 0.25 wen it should of read 2.5C

okay, its just algebra

let the cost of the cork be x

so the cork costs x
the bottle costs x+$1.00 (a dollar more than the cork)
the total cost is $1.05

so: cork + bottle = total cost
or: (x) + (x+$1.00) = $1.05
--> x + x + $1.00 = $1.05
--> 2x + $1.00 = $1.05
--> 2x = $0.05
--> x = $0.025
or 2.5 cents

I have no idea why pythonfan emphasizes "'A' cork", and that it was never specified how many corks there are. It was specified; there is one cork.

you have to think of it backwards: the bottle costs a dollar and 2.5 cents beacuse half of five is 2.5 and the bootle costed $1.00 more than the cork. I know it gets confusing.

I have another one:

How can a person with one eye see more than a person with two?

A person can have 2 eyes and still be blind.

An indian taxi driver was being asked questions by a prospective employer to see if he knew english well enough to communicate with passengers.
He asks him: "If I cut out your tongue, what will happen?"
the indian answers "Then I cannot speak."
He asks a "If I gouge out your eyes, what will happen?" he answers: "then I cannot see."
Finally, the employer asks: "And if I cut off your ears, what will happen?"
The indian then answers: "Then I cannot see, or at least have a little trouble in doing so..."

What was his logic?

A blind taxi driver? That must be why some places have those bumps instead of painted lines on the road ... it's braille for blind drivers!
