Greetings:

BACKGROUND

Virtual Services Group (www.v-s-g.com) having several partners into R/C have decided to start a new company Giant Kits (soon to be giantkits.com). Though most of our offerings will be 88” to 168” LASER CUT KITS, we will be offering a sports scale twin as well (more to come on this 2nd qtr 2005). We have decided to collect information form the source, Modelers them selves before proceeding. Our goal is to collect enough information to produce a kit that exceeds the old Nosen 310 kit. Most of us on this new project have over 20 years experience in R/C, Modeling, Design and a love for R/C Aircraft. We have made a choice to offer a quality product with the input of YOU rather than put out kits just to flood an already saturated market with just another kit to make a few bucks. This endeavor should prove to be a rewarding experience for all involved producing limited run kits that you will enjoy to build and be proud to own.

PURPOSE

We are collecting information at this time from those of you that would like to have a quality Cessna 310/320. Based on the Nosen 310, ANA Industries 310 and original Cessna 310 drawings we feel we have a design that will satisfy demanding builders.
Now we need your input allow us to start production.

QUESTIONS TO YOU

What would you like to see in a kit such as the 310?
What would you change from the previous 310 kits offered?
What is a fair price point for a QUALITY kit such as this?
Wood or Fiberglas fuse?
If the cowls were quality formed plastics would you use them or if fiberglass a must?

CHANGES FROM THE OLD DESIGNS

First and foremost all of our kits will be laser and CNC cut.
Servos instead of bell cranks in wings.
The way the wings attach to the fuse!
FULL plans including BOTH wings rather than one wing that you have to flip to build.
FULL Manual rather than 2 or 3 sheets of paper!
Separate FULL Mod manual giving you choices.
Web site with information for full support, may include live operators and web cams in the shop! (Is that something useful to you as a modeler?)

Now its up to you. Your feedback will determine the final production kit we will be offering.

ALL EMAIL WILL BE ANSWERD!
ALL POSTS WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT!

Thank you,
K. Cagle ccp.

Lighter density wood (AA/Nosen balsa was almost like building with maple)
Cockpit kit option
Retract ready (cutouts lasered in)
I would prefer a glass fuse, but wood is fine too
I would prefer glass over plastic cowls but I'll take what I get
Price under $300...more if a glass fuse
sized for .90 to 1.2 four strokes

Cessna 310: 80-90" wingspan, full or "short" kit, glass cowls & tanks. Design something will take "off-the-shelf" retracts. Foam or wood wing option.
