475 wats at 45 amps. 12 minutes flying and the pack took 2500 to bring it back to 12.6 volts. Spinner is a truturn,I had to turn the motor around so I could use a 5/16 prop adapter for the spinner instead of the wierd adapter that comes with the motormount and leaves nothing but threads sticking out. Warbirds are all about looks. Scale Marine pilot is from hobbylobby I think I paid about 5 bucks for it. I wish the covering wouldnt wrinkle![image][/image]

Hey all! Here is my Corsair. It has an Enya .25SS that I can't get to run right, but it is still really fast (80+mph) and fun as heck. Maybe the funnest sirplane I have. Flies right out of my hand, so launches are easy. I did not like the factory decals, so for now just one white arrow is good for me. Here are some pics.

Looks good! I flew 1 with a 25 in it and I like the electric alot better,it's faster, longer flight times, cleaner, can hear the airframe whistle, and you dont have to worry about how its running. I would like to put some different decals on too instead os having the same as thousands of other planes but I cant find any 1/12 scale corsair decals. Yours looks good. Cya

Looks good. Did you cut the navy decals yourself? Also, do you have any servo problems landing without servo covers? I just cut up an old zagi canopy i had and it works great.

Yes, I cut all the graphics out of monokote and ultrakote.

With over 50+ flights I never had any problems with the wing servos.

I also added a rudder when I re-covered the plane. Its nice to have more control on vertical and cross wind landings, not to mention stall turns...

Well, I maidened my third combat mustang Sunday and and I never get tired of seeing these things fly. It flew like a rocket and tracke like it was on rails. I can see this is going to be my favorite bird in my stable for a while. There's a fast 109 in our club that I'm looking forward to shootin down.

I still haven't found any reliable way of keeping the dirt out of the engine on those landings though. Any ideas?

Yeah, wheels! Landing gear isn't hard to create and sure makes the first and last part of 'flight' a hoot!

There are several good explainations and pictures back through this forum by several posters.

Give it a look and if you have any questions we'll try to help.
