How many people showed up?

BooBoo1 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/24/2005 9:25:07 PM)

We had 8 or 9 Monster trucks and 17 or 18 buggies. Crowd not that big but we still had fun. Mark had the coolest trophies made up. They were lawn mower piston rods mounted on plalques with ingravings that read Rodslinger. Also cash payouts for 1st through 5th place. I was not lucky at all I trashed my motor early in the day but we had much muddy red neck monster truck racing.

I wish i could have made it this weekend, but i had family visiting and couldn't leave them alone.

When is the next race? I might be able to make it.

BooBoo1 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/24/2005 11:34:02 PM)

next race at Rodslinger Saturday November 26, 2005.

Mark mention something about trying to get an on road track going in Griffin. I was wondering how much interest this might draw and if it would be worth the trouble.

46u -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/25/2005 1:14:47 AM)

We have a paved oval here in Macon just wish we had an off road.

Darn, i'm going to my sisters for thanksgiving that weekend.

I have a HPI pro3 and an AE NTC3 for on road. I like to run them, but not as much as my off roaders, so if you build it i'll give it a shot

BooBoo1 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/25/2005 1:12:37 PM)

46u not an oval but a road course for touring cars.

46u -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/25/2005 7:21:36 PM)

Wonder if any one would run F1 as that is my favorite full size motor sport. I have an old nitro F1 and one electric F1.

fastest_ntc3 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/30/2005 1:01:53 AM)

Has anyone here been to sugarbowl and know if they are still open? I think someone said that they are going out of business.

BooBoo1 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/30/2005 5:42:31 PM)

Sugarbowl still running offroad on Saturday. The ARROCC run on road at Surgerbowl on Sundays. I was there about 3 or 4 weeks ago and raced. I spoke with them they said the same old they be saying for about three years (we will race until the bulldozers come) what ever that means.

fastest_ntc3 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/31/2005 1:58:59 AM)

Thanks for the information BooBoo.

crazyjr -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (10/31/2005 5:38:13 PM)

BooBoo1 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (11/1/2005 12:19:17 AM)

no not at Rodslinger, looking at location in Griffin but nothing final yet

fastest_ntc3 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (11/1/2005 11:19:23 PM)

BooBoo1 -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (11/2/2005 10:39:22 AM)

40 miles South Of Atlanta

crazyjr -> RE: Middle Georgians wanted (11/3/2005 2:41:32 AM)

Hey Booboo1 or anybody involved with Rodslingers.

On days when there is no racing, do you allow people to come out to run their cars during the day? I thought i read that in this thread somewhere. If so, do you allow this on weekends?
