I was fortunate yesterday to have a chance to fly a friends Double Vision and it was impressive--- His has the DA-50 turning a 22x8 (ive been told ) and it was just flat awesome... I have a bunch of 40-60 sized stuff and speed planes, so this was a blast!

Just thought I would stop in and mention what a great flying airlane that is---

Anyhow, here is a pic-

Hey Razor,

That plane looks familiar . You can fly my DV anytime....... could you please not fly it better than me next time, though I love that plane more and more the more I fly it.

BTW- It's a 22x8 MSC prop.

Redrum,

Haven't tached it with this prop. The only thing I found with this prop was that it didn't fit in the spinner. (notice there isn't one in the pic). It fit with the Menz prop, but the MSC is wider at it's base.

I also had a club member tell me the prop was going supersonic. I understand that's the crackling sound made by the prop, but I didn't notice if it was there before or not.

DA recommends these props so I feel comfortable using them.

Nice video. Except for the harriers into low hovers, rolling circles and torque rolls, I can do everything he did

Has anyone mounted the DA 50 with a slimline smoke muffler? It looks like I'll need to modify the firewall and fuse to make it fit and line up correctly.
Thanks.

Glad to hear the plane is performing well, but you need to get rid of that prop for something that lets the motor unload a little. Try a menz, mejzlik, or one of my new 22x8's. All 3 will give you much better performance then the one that is on it now.

6900 RPM is just fine for a DA 50. In fact, that prop is one of the best on the market for a 50 CC engine. DA highly recommends them.

Glad your plane is flying well Redrum!
