can someone tell me what kind of servo's the use and send me some detail pictures from the rc part(inside of the fuse)
I want to build i with a DA50 or DL50 and go 3D all the way. so I will build light and strong. wings from 1 part, no wing tube's to reduce te weight.

Skystar,

Standard size servos will work, especially if you use a single servo per elevator. I would suggest going with high quality digital servo with metal gears, such as the Hitec HS-5645MG. For a discussion of the benefits of digital servos, check out my blog post on the topic: http://gundersonaerodesign.com/blog/?p=5.

If you don't use the wing tubes, how do you plan to join the wings?

Cheers,

Rich

Hi everyone.

We are kicking around the idea of offering a CNC cut foam core wing for the Pitts. I want to hear from you if this is an option that you would like? Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Rich

Hello Nick,

You can request a copy of the plans by filling out the form on our website: http://www.gundersonaerodesign.com/products/shortkits/burton/requestplans.php. After you fill out the form, we will send you a copy of the plans by email for personal use. The plans are distributed only in PDF format and are not available in DXF or DWG format. While we ask that you do not redistribute the plans either by email or on your website, we do encourage you to place a link on your website to this forum, and to Spirit of Pitts product page: www.gundersonaerodesign.com/products/shortkits/burton so that we can continue to build the existing community around BBT's great design!

Thanks,

Rich

Off course i won't redistribute it... for that reason i asked before.... in facts all the downloads you can see on my site are all authorized, don't worry for that, really!

well its like this. i converted PDF file to DWG or DXF but all the round lines are square and well not good atall when i see them in AutoCAD. in my point of view its pointless to convert. cant make it good for laser cut...

OK so i found a way. As i own Photoshop i printscreened all the parts in Adobe Reader and pasted them into Photoshop so i got them all to one "plywood board" (well not all, separated playood and balsa boards), and every part is 1:1.
