Hi Dave,
Yes ,I must give you that Glacier Girl vid back, but I can't stop watching it,it's not the fact that it is a p38,ok well it is,but, I just find it amzing how they actually managed to find them ,let alone get it out of 250ft of ice, truley incredible.
Let's all hope she makes it this year for Flying Legends.

Cheers Graham

Dear The Warbird Factory
Happy Easter to you also, yes we have had high winds and snow.
So no maiden for the P38 this weekend.
It is less than two weeks to our bash, so I hope the weather improves.

There are plenty of good models lined up foe the bash.
I have a reserve list running at the moment.
I am holding two places for Dave Johnson, I would love to see the mighty Vulcan at Colt.

The only downside at the moment is, the Boy wonder Dibble is having trouble getting the day off.
Some pics to be going on with.

Regards Phil G.

Hi Phil,

And a HAPPY EASTER to you too,

Lets just hope the weather clears up somewhat before the 4th, ive picked up a 82" chipmonk in RAF colours with a Saito120 as a new toy to play with, the Ziroli Hellcat is back on her feet again thanks to a new set of retracts, it realy hasent had much luck so far, so lets hope the weathers good so i can get a few flights out of it. The big bolt of mine has been repaired, Graham as modified the carburettor for me so hope it keeps running now, just need to redo the C.O.G. and we should be good to go, the T34 and the B25 still have some work to be done so i doubt they will be there....

Keep our fingers cross for good weather

All the best,
Di n Dave....

Hello,
Thought I join in here and show a few pics of my KMP Typhoon. Powered by a Brillelli 26 SSR gasser. Havent flown her yet but its getting close! Ran a few tanks of gas through her at the field yesterday. Boy that engine runs awesome!! Taxied her around a bit with the cowl off..I wanted to let her fly but the wind was crazy at the field..
Cya,
Frank

Dear Frank
Thanks for posting, The Typhoon looks very nice.
We have had high winds here in the UK of late, hence no test flight for the P38 as yet.

Dave, the chipmunk another Colt aircraft they used to Come to Colt in the summer for about 4 weeks.
They used to give air experience flights to the ATC. Glad to hear the cat is back on her feet.

Regards Phil G.
