Hi Phil,&Dave,

I'm a Happy Bunny, ok a Large Bunny!!!! ,

Just went out and bought some Digi scales and weighed all the parts and it comes to just a fraction over 41 pounds and that is rounding it off on the high side,so lets just hope with fuel and balance she should be good to go.

Cheers Graham

Dear Graham
That is good news, I think the weight is taken dry so you should just do it.
You will love this model once you get flying it.

Regards Phil G.

Dear All
It is slightly disturbing news here at the moment, I don't want to sound mellow dramtic.
The Prison service have taken control of Colt today, this is earlier than we expected.

I will be going to Colt tomorrow to clarify the situation, what difference a model fly-in would
make I don't know. There are no Prisoner's there etc. I will post on here tomorrow.

Regards Phil G.

Dear All
All is well at Colt, the chap who is sympathetic to our cause is still in charge of the day to day running of the station.
This is what I agreed with him today

If guests could try and arrive between 9 and 9:30 please.
Everyone must be escorted on and off the station.

You must not come on to the station on your own.
If you do you will be asked to leave.

No photography or video is to be taken of the buildings that are going to be used for the Prison. If you do you will be asked to leave. You can of course take video and pics of the models.

A speed limit of 20mph exists all around the station.
No gash to be left on the station.

Please abide by these rules.

Right that has got that over with.

I will send everyone a contact number shortly.
I am not sure if everyone would like their names posted on here.
The best bet is for forum members who are attending to post what they are bringing here.

Please do not be put off flying because there are some well known names attending.
Everyone is equal and everyone will be treated the same who ever they are.

The chap who allowed this to go ahead would like some pictures taken of Hurricanes
and Spitfire's etc in the revetments, where the real Hurricanes and Spitfires stood in the Battle of Britain.

Hi Phil. Well I will be bringing my small Phoenix Tucano which has not flown yet. It’s blowing a gale "up North" today and it's not looking good for a test flight before Friday now. Hope it flies with all the extra weight

Also the ME 109 with it's re-covered wing. Again not flown since the mods, but should be better than last time .

By the way. Happy Birthday RAF. It's amazing that in 90 years the aircraft has come on so much. Where would our hobby be without it! . . . but there you are.

I will not be there for the 9:30 time Phil. It could be closer to 11:00am when I arrive. I am planning an staying until evening to see if the weather improves, as it has done in previous years. I will naturally ring the contact number when it is listed on arrival.

JoLLy.

Hello Mr Jolly

Tucano looks very nice indeed, have you painted your 109 aileron the correct colour now?

See you Friday, I shall not be their until lunch time myself.

regards
Muffler

What a memory you have No it's still slightly incorrect, but we can keep a secret can't we

I won't be there until 11:00am this time. Picking up my father on the way as the boss is away on a seminar!

Hello all,

Im after some advice. Has anybody used a servo reverser Y lead, and if so are they a.o.k?? Im currently building a Ziroli p47 and have used independant servos for the flaps. I have just started to mount the servos and realised ive put the servos head to head and not opposite as they should be. I dont want to change my mounting system because its all taylor made so im looking for a alternative. Would be grateful of any advice.

Please see my thread, http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6768628/anchors_6768628/mpage_1/key_ziroli%252Cp47/anchor/tm.htm#6768628

Many thanks, Frank

Well that was a great day and I am glad I played the "arrive later and stay later" policy. Conditions did improve towards dusk but they weren’t too bad all day really Arrived home at 10:20pm safely.

A great big thank you to Norwich Model Aero Club for hosting the day and I think we need a add a SPECIAL TANK YOU to the people in the background who prepared the catering for the event.

All we need now is for someone to put some pictures up for viewing so we have an official archive for the day. Come on Dibble
