Hi All
I am attempting to build a scale Airspeed Horsa Troop Glider which was used on D-Day. I found a plan sheet for a model about 16" long. I am scaling it up to the same scale as the Ziroli C-47 which has a 140" wing span. The scaled up version of the glider will result in an 11' wing span and 8'-4" fuselage. The wing appears to be a Clark Y airfoil and the chord at it's thickest point is 26 1/8". The chord of the horizontal stab and elevator has a 5' span and a 13 1/2" chord. Could someone please shed some light as to the thickness of the airfoil for the stab and elevator? I tried to use a Clark Y airfoil however it became almost 2" thick and looked out of scale. Please note that I have not been able to find any other plans which show this airfoil. I do have a 1/72 scale plastic model however I am not able to check the airfoil on it due to it's small size. All comments would be welcomed.
Thanks

Wing Airfoil for the Airspeed AS 51 and AS 58 Horsa Glider: NACA 4419R 3.1

Helpful Resource for airfoils used on full-scale planes/rotorcraft (source):

Sorry, I didn't notice your request for the stab airfoil until the second reading...this probably won't help you there.
