Hi all...
I downloaded the "vettre" scenery, unzipped the file into its folder in the "scenery" folder and changed the jpg files to bmp files. I also checked the "texture" file and it was set to 2048. I'm only getting a black screen and can barely make out the aircraft...I'm at a loss?????
I have the same problem as John, well almost, I just get a black screen and computer lock-up when I tried to open it. I finally deleted all the "vettre" files so I could use my AFP. What patch are you talking about? I downloaded the latest patch for AFP when I bought and installed it. Is there a patch for "vettre"? Also what is this thing about "texture"? I haven't made any changes there. Ron

also Ron.....if you have the Vettre folder in the scenery folder with all the jpg.'s converted to bmp.'s make sure you also have these 3 files in the scenery folder..
* vettre.bmp * vettre.geo * vettrelg.bmp
after i downloaded the file and opened it i saw those 3 files and the vettre folder...so make sure those 3 files go in the scenery folder and not the Vettre folder

....i don't uderstand why you are having problems but you must be doing something wrong....uninstall everything about Vettre and try again with these instructions...
Installation:
1. Extract this ZIP-file to the 'scenery'-folder of your AeroFly Professional installation. There will be a new folder 'vettre' created which contains several pictures and files. In addition after extraction these three files should be located in the 'scenery'-folder: * vettre.bmp * vettre.geo * vettrelg.bmp If not, simply move them to there.
2. Then go into the 'vettre'-folder and convert the JPEGs into BMPs. NOTE: do not rename the files. That does not work. You have to load them into a graphics viewer such as 'IrfanView' or 'ACDSee' and store them again in the BMP format.

NdFrSpeed, tukkus I have done this as you have and other people have, followed yours and their instructions many times, and i cant get it to work. all i can say is it works on some computor systems and not others why i dont know.
P.S. I get the same prob as NdFrSpeed and i convert jpg to bmp via irfanview.
"I Need some search lights" (vettre scenery) IN AFPD. Also ive tried GEO file to alter lighting ect,you can read it but page is locked cant alter.
