Looking to dialog with any and everyone that has owned one. Also looking to gather up any "parts and accessories" that are no longer needed.

Thanks
Ray

Ray, was this airplane truly 1/4 scale or slightly smaller? The reason I ask is that I have a really awful fiberglass fuselage for a Spit that works out to be for about a 98 inch span airplane. I've never been able to identify the manufacturer. The fuse is probably not good for much but if you're interested...

Hey Chad, thanks for checking. My initial SWAG (silly wild a## guess) puts the plane at about 1/4.4, with a span of 110". Early marks, like I - IX.

This fuse is definitely for the Merlin powered Spit although I'm not conclusive as to whether it is the IX or something earlier. The 98 inch span guess comes from my own measurements of the fuse and comparing it with three views. I suppose it could be for a 110 inch wing if it is one of the early short nosed versions. I'll try and get some digital pics of it.
