I have found a few Gee Bee ARF's

They are

Kyosho Gee Bee Z - 56" ($329.20)

Great Planes Gee Bee - 68" ($428.85)

ESM Gee Bee - 71" ($394.70)

Green Air Gee Bee Y - 82" ($531.10)

The ESM, Great Planes and Green air models look pretty much the same with the white and red colours however the Kyosho has the nice black and yellow.

What model would be the best and easiest to fly as I have heard the Kyosho Gee Bee is really hard? The prices are in AUD. Also how would a Super Tigre G90 or G2300 go in the bigger ones?

Thanks

"Castle is a go" ? Does this mean that it's official, and that Castle airport has been leased and scheduled ?

I was talking to on of the guys who puts this on and he said it was OKed for this year again... Don't really know how far it has progressed beyond that.. It came from a "should know" source...

Of course we now all know that Castle is hosting the IMAA Rally of the Giants in 2006. May 25 thru 28. Hope to see that 40% Gee Bee there.

Hi,
Here is picture of my 1/5 Gee Bee R2 from JR-Models it is powered with GMS .76 2-stroke but I will change it to Saito 91 during this winter.

Very easy to fly and no bad habits except on landings as you can see from this video

Sleepper, yours lands just like mine. I recieved one of Chip Hyde's little ARFs. I think it has a 68" span. IT has a Super Tiger .90 2 stroke, it flies great, except for doing the GB bow on landing. I find if you really slow it down and three point it, I have less chance of having it flip over on roll out. Got to love them.

I scratch built the Adrian page RZ 60". Flys great but watch out on the landings. One trick I have found to stop it from flipping is to put the rudder on low rates just before landing. It seems that any side to side movement when in the roll-out it flips. If I remember to switch to low rates I usually have a good landing.
