After attending the WRAM show and hoping to buy a new Heli, I was disappointed in Hobby-Lobby for having prices higher than their website. Also, other than a few, the electric heli selection at WRAM was poor. Everyone wanted to ship it to you, rather than having the product there for me to buy. I wanted to let you all know I spent over an hour on the phone with http://www.helihobby.com, and their service was exquisite. They answered all of my questions, and helped me pick out a Heli that is right for me. They also helped me fill the gaps in my knowledge. I would highly recommend them.

Well, there are a couple of things to remember here.

1. Everybody is cheaper on the net vs in the store. Look at Wal-Mart, and Best Buy for example.

2. The WRAM show is a Model Aviation SHOW, not a flea market. The folks are there to showcase their newest stuff, and show it off to potential distributors, and not to sell stuff under the counter to individuals. Some trade shows actually prohibit these types of sales. America's Mart Trade shows in Atlanta for example. The reason for this is so that the manufactorer isnt undercutting their distributors. They are just looking after their assets.
Trade shows are alot different than regular swap meets and such.

Im glad to hear about your good experience with helihobby.com, as I plan on getting my next heli from them.

I don't think helihobby is in there yet but I'll get them added

I have purchased Two Heli's and tons of parts from Helihobby and I am really satisfied with them they are real good people to buy from,I would say that if you want good service and people that listen to you and help you out you should buy from Helihobby they are the only one's I will buy from also when I order I can expect it to show up in two days and have yet to be disappointed by them.

I just got off the phone with them myself - I just ordered the "T-Rex Explosive Brushless Combo". I have to concur that the phone service was awesome - she didn't even have too many problems with my strange antipodean accent

They're email service is pretty crap, so you may as well not bother and just phone them.

That said, it hasn't arrived yet - I might have been ripped off, you never know. I will update this thread when I receive it.
