Bill you did an awesome job on this, as you do with all your planes. You've got the patience and care that it takes to be a real builder. It's been a while since I've been to Copper, maybe I'll have to head up there soon so I can see all of you, and to see that awesome field too of course. Currently I'm in the building stage with all of my planes. I dorked my SE. I'm still lamenting that loss. But the good new is that Lynn was sitting there and says, "I guess he needs a new plane now." So I took her up on it and got a Seagull Edge and put an ST 90 into it. Unfortunately, in none of the Seagull advertising, do they mention that the plane has only 671 sq inches of wing area. That, in my opinion, is the big flaw in that plane, and that's the reason it was such a disappointment to me, and it's the reason why at deadstick the plane falls like a rock with a suicidal purpose. Everything else on the Seagull Edge is great, just the wings are too small. Right now I'm doing a fast assembly on a Hanger 9 Twist. I'm putting my FX .46 w/Macs muffler into that one. That'll be my fun plane. As awesome as this Wild Hare 120 size Edge looks to me, I don't think my ST 90 will be enough to have all the fun I want to have with the plane at 11 to 11.5 lbs. So I've ordered an A*******s Edge in the 60-90 size which I think will serve my purposes somewhat better. Not that I don't think the WH version is awesome, I just think it's a bit too big for the engine that I've got. Now if the officials at WH want to give me a Saito 1.40 to put in there, I won't object, and I'll happily order the new WH plane . Yeah right... HEHEHEHEHE! Well, it was worth the try! Anyways, I just wanted to say Hi Bill! Later guys.
