to keep your body from smacking doun on the mounts when you land off a jump put little pices of fule line between the mount and the body.

If you find yourself always running out of the plastic shock spacers use Zip Ties in place of the spacer.

When watterprofing servos with a baloon, the hole you put in it for the servo horn to attach, put a little dob of greese on there to keep watter form entering. And some greese where the wires come out too is nice.

If you keep breaking a particuliar part on your vechile ex: a spindle, take one off a similar car but diffrent make and costomize it to work. Hey I got xxx-nt hub carriers and hubs/spindles on my traxxas rustler.

When a part breaks out in the field it can usually be fixed with CA, mechanics wire/paper clips, or rubber bands. I mean I broke the top part of a shock cap and held it back on with rubber bands and it worked mint.

Fuel tank o-ring tip: (I know it works on my NEST, but I don't know about other fuel tanks)

The other day the o-ring was not sealing properly on my tank. Instead of replacing the o-ring... try to tighten down the screw on the underside of the cap. This will compress the o-ring and cause it to increase the width of the o-ring... which in turn tightens the fit. I tightened my screw 2 full turns over 2 months ago and my tank hasn't spilled any fuel out of the top and it has maintained the proper seal ever since.

After trying to start your NEST(or any other), and then realizing it wasnt even primed(blue fuel line, argg), always make sure you take off the glow plug starter before putting your finger over the exhaust and yanking to prime it. Just trust me on that one.

I havwe an X-C and Sometimes its anoying to put the body on because of the excess wire sticking out because it bends. What Im gonna do is fold that excess wire downward and then shrink some shrinkwrap over it and the wire cover.

How many anntena tubes have you all broken? Try this: right where the tube(or slighty below) exits the body, cut it(the tube, not the wire). Then take about one and one quarter inch of fuel line and slide it over the two sections of the tube to hold it together. When you car rolls, the fuel line will do all of the bending thus saving the anntena tube.

I put shrink wrap on it, it is thik and will never brake. and the shrink wrap also goes over the little part of the reciever box that sticks out.
