Lowenzahn -> RE: humming bird battery holder (11/6/2005 9:00:33 AM)

I used to have a similar problem but what I'm doing now seems to be working great, well that or I stopped burning in so hard... Anyway I take 1 rubber band (not the ones that came with the kit) by taking one end and putting it around the bottom hooks on the battery holder, then go to the high side on the other side. Then I take the end thats on the high side and give it a half twist and attach it to the lower hooks on that same side. Does that make sense? I ran outta rubber bands once so I used a hair tie from my wife and that works fine in the manner described above :) On a side note I'm still amazed at how much of a beating the hummingbird can take. The only thing I've had to replace so far was one landing strut, and that took a whole 2 minutes. Dan
