Yes finals.

The blind mans bluff seemed to go very well, made a lot of people nervous at first but I think most enjoyed it.

Blind Mans bluff yesterday was topped this morning. During the pilots meeting, when Andy said, Does everyone have their unknowns from last night memorized? Good. Then he picked up the trash can and said "put them in". He then issued a brand new set of unknowns and said. "First flyer up in 45 minutes". I was second up. Fun!

I am very dissapointed that some pictures I took on my digital camera did not make it through the airport x ray machine. Oh well, will have to do it the old fashioned way (through words).

Great to see the Hamilton's. Stephen is now taller than Dad. They both won their respective classes. Although Forrest Waller was coming on strong, winning the final unknown this morning (Forest suffered from what most of us non- Floridians face- the cold hard fact that we come out of hibernation to fly in the contest "cold". We'll have to do something about that.. every class being won by residents of Florida.

Mark started with his electric Extra. Yes, electric Extra. Propane and methane? Must have been a fuel cell. It was flying well until the battery (and the entire plate) let go at the bottom of the inverted humpty and punched out of the canopy. Was talking around the foamy Tensor... talking about the best type of oil to use in RCS, other engines, and I said, "in 5 to 10 years, perhaps we'll all be flying electrics".

Hello,

I would also like to thank all the folks at the JR. We had a great time and look forward to next year. We also were excited that our friends Don Hamilton and his son Stephen took their 42% Velox to 1st place in Sportsman and Intermediate. We were excited to see that. Great job to all the supporters of the event and contestants.

Thanks

John
