Most model fuel companies make a fuel specifically for the big Tigres I have run Powermaster and Morgans Omega that is blended for theses engines just check with your LHS ,

Use any quality 15% fuel with some castor. DO NOT run any fuel that does not have castor! ST will not warranty the engine in this case. Many mfgs say Large ST fuel and have 10% oil which is a castor synth mix, this is no good. For 10% oil content it must be all castor as per ST and I have documetation from ST to back it up. They also state that if a castor synth mix is used it must be atleast 18% total oil content with some of that being castor. I fly both the 2000 and the 2500 and they run perfectly on Omega 15% nitro with 18% oil.

I have found that Super Tigres love 5% nitro. I use nothing but PowerMaster 5% fuel and I get more RPM from the engine and better transition and power. I was able to get an extra 500 RPM on a ST51 by switching from 10% to 5% nitro fuel.

I'm running a 2500 and a 3250 with standard PowerMaster 5% fuel, 18% oil synthetic castor blend. Works great.

Generally the European designed engines work better with little or no nitro, Japanese engines love nitro.

My 2 cents worth.
