Tired of waiting an hour or two (or more) for your video to finish rendering only to find out that the settings you chose didn't work out like you had hoped?

Take a 5 second clip of some of your video and play with that. Try some settings. Render it. It only takes a few minutes. Doesn't look good? Change the settings and try again.

Want to see what various settings do when burning a DVD-R? Use a DVD-RW instead, along with a short video clip. (Make sure your DVD player will play it. Not all of them will play DVD-RW.)

Once you have settings that work for you, save them!
