With everyones collective experience what should a person purchase? The Hornet or Piccolo? It seems that the Hornet has the edge considering the collective heli is coming out this spring and the mod is supposed to bolt right on the existing helis. With everyones experience what would you purchase if you had to do it all over again? It seems that the MS Heli has the edge but that information is what I have gathered from the various biased heli groups. Please give me your opinion. To everyone, have a Merry Christmas and a Heli Happy New Year!

Hi Butch,

Went to our local fun fly today, Hornets and Piccolos flying together.

Both in FF and CP forms.

Both Hornet and Piccolo are very nice flyers in CP form just depends upon how much money or personal time you want to spend.

Walt Ferar has created a CP mod for the Hornet which is quite exceptional both from a performance point of view as well as durability. And he has graciously supplied his mod free, just visit JohnK' website for all the instructions http://microhelis.homestead.com/index.html

HE has a very nice website with both Hornet and Piccolo mods.

Thanks for the Web Site. That is very informative. The more I look at these the more I am leaning towards the Hornet. I wish I had known about these forums before I started making purchases when I got into this hobby. I would have done some things different. Merry Christmas!
