Well island it was a MGT, RC18, batt packs, RBmodded Rossi .28, Wasp .28, 2 Jammin JP-1 pipes... and a few other little things "no honey, ive always had these trucks... just theyve been at the Hobby shop on display..." The P5 did a pretty good job at the track... a little more powerful than the stock.26, but i have over 4 gals thru the motor and with a good tune... but the .21 didnt have as much power as i would like to see. Personally, if its a truggy or MT, i go with a good .26 or .28 because it has the power you need to push that truck around the track. My P5 is modded slightly, but its close to stock... but seriously, if youre going to do a trugy conversion, get a bigger motor. Wasp .28's are about 170 at tower and they have more than enough power to push these truck around.

Wasp motors from my experiances are easy to tune and maintain. I cant wait till i blow my stock .26 in my rr so i can drop mine in These stockers hold up pretty good... i spent a whole night with it at 300-325 and it ran like a champ... still has great compression and starts right up and stays running.. Not bad for 3 gals of 30% and running the piss outta it huh? haha i found another stocker from a pro. 3 puck cluthc, flywheel n all for $50.. not bad... plus i have my stocker from my pro... haha and people always are seeling them... mnight as well just keep running the HB .26's... haha if i blow one up, just grab another one Alot cheaper and ill be screaming because itd be RACE TUNED! Pull a virgin motor out of the box, put it in and screw break in... im goin racing! hahaha sounds like a pretty good idea to me in the long run. On one hand you have a $200+ motor that you have to break in, keep tuned just right and baby it so you have the chance of it lasting a long time, or get a $50 new motor and beat the crap outta it, then when youre done, pull the flywheel, clutch and carb, rebuild the motor.. or just chunk it in the trash and bolt up another new one and go racing again... man i must be crazy.. cause that sounds like a great idea...

hey guys just a quick question for ya...
i have the 17mm hubs on my rockwilder (factory built truggy based on sacker chassis) and i was wondering if it is possible to put the 23mm hubs on it. the hubs that it has now are the same that come on 1/8 buggies.
i would love to put the 23mm hubs on it and run some 40 series bow ties on it but im just not sure if thw hubs will fit.
hopefully you guys will be able to help me with this one.
thanks in advance

Well I have a P5 thats gonna occupy my Kanai3 truggy, but most likely depending on how i like it is gonna get swithed with a .27 or .28!
Dont go over board with power if you cant control it though. Keep it stock and learn the vehicle and how to drive the track and go from there. Power is nothing if you cant control it or use it.

Island... Don't sell yourself on the bigger motor is better crap haha For a truggy like yours, the weight of a good .28 makes a big difference. A GOOD .21 or modded .21 would make your truck balistic with the right gearing. With the LS gearing, if you put.. say a Collari B3 in there, you will have a ungodly amount of power for that thing... keep it in mind.. a good .21 is always better than a good .28 for a truggy conversion like yours. The only thing is getting the right motor for the right truck...
