What are the current limitations on programming for these servos until you correct the issues?

There are no program limitations known at this time, less the deviation from programmed parameters. I have provided this information in detail many times to date. The v1.04 revision digitals can be used once programmed, they have proven to work without issue and or any reliability shortcomings.

Hitec USA is expecting a programmer update within a few weeks which will address the noted deviation/offset ONLY... Once we have the update in the USA, some local testing and review will be initiated and immediately thereafter the programmer updates will be made available to all, free of charge.

Customers without programmers may return their servos to Hitec USA for reprogramming.

Though, I review these forums extensively, I do not remember inputs from you on this subject that speaks to my question -- certainly not in this particular thread. Until P-51B bumped it there was no response to my question at all. I see you removed my post about this thread being ignored by Hitec -- how would you interpret no response a month after asking the question.

As far as my question: I'm sorry, just call me super dense because it still doesn't seem to have been answered. Maybe this will help -- I'll repeat my question a little differently:

What programming function can or can't be done on a version 1.04 servo (it now appears that the 5995 servo is not the only one) using the 1.03 programmer? (This is the gist of my question "What are the current limitation on programming for these servos...." What happens if I inadvertently reset the servo using the current programmer, etc....?

Known problems realized of the programmer and the V1.04 revision digitals are specifically a linear deviation from programmed neutral and end-point parameters. Or simply; the neutral and end-point programmed set-points will be realized at approximately two degrees off-set in one direction across the full sweep of the servos travel arc.

The deviation is a semi-permanent programmed attribute.

While this may seem like a big problem, it’s not. The deviation is easily worked out or away when programming the servo to match the model and TX in use. The same methodology and or iteration programming is exercised, you simply allow for the deviation as you work through the programming.

Hi Michael,

When the programmer update is released how is it downloaded to the programmer .. or is this something we are going to have to send our programmer in for ??

You must return the programmer to Hitec USA at your expense for the update. Estimated return shipping cost born by the end-user is about $4.00 to via USPS Priorty Mail. Hitec will check it out, flash it and return it at their expense.

Nothing is in the works for user upgrades at this time.

Anybody have the address to Hitec USA. I would like to send mine in to be checked out before I put it on my 2K machine.
