Whats the word on the 5955s? I am waiting for one to finish my Yak.Will they be coming soon, or should I switch to a 8611? I would like to fly this plane this year.
I already bought a SWB arm for the 5955. I will send it back and get one for a jr servo instead. Unless the 5955s are on the way. I am growing old waiting for these servos.

To ad to the AVAILABILTY question, I would also like to ask......

Are all of the programming issues straightened out? Or maybe more to the point, can we program these things, install them and go flying without worrying about losing a $7000 airplane?

The servos will be available again in the near future, presently they are simply back ordered. Well over 1500 servos were shipped from the first release which depleted the available inventory in the US.

The programmed deviation and or offset from programmed parameters has not come full circle yet. Hitec Engineers are working it out to date. As we currently understand it, an update for the programmer will be offered to remedy this short coming.

There are many modelers, possibly hundreds based on the units sold successfully utilizing the new TG servos without issue. The offset or deviation does not effect the reliability of the servo, you simply adjust the programming to eliminate the offset. If you don introduce the programmer to the servo the deviation or offset is not realized.

No, probably not.

Sorry, but we don't have a firm time table at this time. I'm simply being upfront and don't wish to mislead you or others with an unrealistic kinda, well maybe time frame... As soon as we have a commitment on a shipment we'll share same.
