rpmtech -> 1/6 Tank ESC warnings (3/17/2005 6:25:55 PM)

If you need some ESC's for your large scale tank I will have to warn you about a company called Diverse Electronics. I bought 2 of their MC7 esc's and have been sent back once for repair when they just decided to stop working. Got them back and have had nothing but trouble and frustration with them the whole time. I am 100% positive it was nothing I did, just a poor design, DONT work with PCM{was NOT stated on their website} Glitchy and basically outdated junk.[:'(]

I am now out $300 on this junk.[:@] See it here so you know to stay away:

So the motto is for a big tank : Vantec Vantec Vantec!!!![:D]

Bought on of theirs and installed it in the SAME vehicle and works like a dream. Now these are nice esc's

Just thought Id rant a little bit as taking a hammer to the old esc's wasant quite enough! and warn anyone to avoid this kind of frustration.

Now I still need some esc's for my 21 century Stuart thats where I had that junk installed.[:(]

So if you have a big tank project and are going to need some ESC's get a Vantec.
