hovering at 6 feet altitude, with about 1750 RPM. big bang ! and the heli literally exploded. one of the blades flew about 100 feet straight out. got lucky it didn't hit me !!
e-mailed TT about this incident... of course no response.
as the pictures proof, one of the bladeholders broke !!!!
this was extremely dangerous and came without any warning. result: new kit PLUS all the upgrades, especially the metal holders... this is the last chance i give TT, if any more stuff brakes in flight i will throw both my TT's in the trash and get real helis (like my x-cell extreme...)

Now you know why ALL the AMA rules require hovering skids at eye level, so if the feces do hit the fan, all the parts go over your head. Sorry for your loss.
new kit PLUS all the upgrades
Why waste the money, get either another X-Cell or an Ergo and get rid of all the headaches.

yes, i absolutely agree...
though i do have some problems right now with my extreme... (see http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/tm.asp?m=253946) and that is getting pretty pricey, i am also looking at the Sylphide 91, but with a $2000.- price tag...

(and the R60 with all the upgrades does not fly any different than without the upgrades... (still rebuilding the R50)))

Ouch, maybe it was just a bad grip. Hmmm, why do you run your heli at 6 volts?

You are a danger to yourself and others
with these TT products. Give them to me before you harm yourself or others, or your creditcard

It will never be safe to fly at the dam if you continue to use these products.

Mine have worked perfectly, but then again I use Futaba and expo.
Why waste the money, get either another X-Cell or an Ergo and get rid of all the headaches well at least they will be more exspensive headaches that way!!
Contary to popular belief, the Ergo Sport 60 is NOT more expensive than the raptor line. Most all crashes are the same: Blades, main shaft, spindle, and flybar, maybe the tail boom. Plus the idea is NOT to crash so repair costs shoudnt be a concern. the idea is to fly, and I fly mine all the time with NO problems at all, none, nada, nicht. Same parts as when I bought it used several years ago, and still flying great.

Senior Member,
That is just what I do with my Raptors. No problems just fly 'em. I have been around a lot of them including mine but have never seen something like that so don't know what is up with that one but all the ones I have been around fly great...Don
