Looks great! 

Sounds like your a bit too nose heavy! I had the same problem initially. I've had 4 of these planes still have 2 and love them. Once you get the CG nailed you'll be about spot on. I have 3% of Elv. mix and 2% of Ail mix on one of mine the other is 3% of Elv and 3% of Ail mix.

Indeed my cg is lying quite forward. Found it to be very sensitive on elevator. It is lying forward of the wing tube. (and by the flight pattern I would be tempted to put it more forward)

@ I buy houses. Can you give me he location of the cg you are using? And deflection on elevator for IMAC style flying? Maybe I've to much deflection on the elevator.

Status: offline 		If I remember right the Elev. has 9 degrees of travel up and 10 down The Aileron has 15%. I'm not around the plane to CG it but with the stab tubes on if you hold it by the wing tube socket the nose falls quite a bit.

I am from Germany and like to order the Extreme Edge, too. I like to buy by throttlestore.com, but I get no answer to the emails I wrote.
If I write a email directly to extreme Composite, but I get also no answer, does anybody have a another mail-address as I can get from the Extreme-Composite website? I am a german Dealer, too.

Anybody knows another dealer in Europe, if I can't buy the Edge directly from Extreme Composite?

My experience with throttlestore has always been great.

I had a Xtreme Composite sukhoi before and inquired for replacement parts, and they came back almost an hour later with the reply. Ik bought several items, and it was always dealt with correctly and fast.

When I started inquiry about the Edge, it was the same, so i bought it there.

If they don't answer they must be on holiday, or have a problem with a server or so. It is not their way of working.

One downside for European customers!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are not part of the EU, so expect to pay import taxes when they ship it to you!!!!!!!!! they shipped the day after payment (with tracking number) but it took almost 4 weeks before i had it. due to customs.

I had to pay 105 euro tax (in Belgium) so, that was still ok. Other company would charge this for shipping, throttlestore ships for free.

I have now about 70 flights on the Edge and get more pleasure out of it every flight. What a plane. There is a little coupling on rudder/elevator and rudder/aileron, but easy to mix out. Disregard my posts above about the coupling. I had my mixes reversed and was increasing the coupling. It took me a couple of flights to figer that out. still dont know how i could make that stupid mistake.

But now, it flies like on rails. tracks really nice at normal speeds. and almost no wingrock in the harrier. It feels extremely light in the air.

If i would need a replacemed i would go for it again.

Hope this helps a bit.

I know that I have to pay the taxes. In Germany I have to pay about 170Euro for Tax. Thats why I will try to buy direktly by Extreme-Composite . They do not have a dealer in Germany, and those, who is named at their homepage as a dealer, do not distribute their planes anymore.

Maybe I am waiting for the C-ARF Edge, or I buy a 120" Yak 54. It does not matter, I have all parts for both planes at home.

OK, time to dust off this old thread. Last summer I made a trade and ended up with what i beleive is/was Damons (I buy houses) Edge. It looked great when i did the deal, but after getting it home and looking deeper into it, I made some shocking discoveries. It had been through the ringer (battle tested)!... I was so disapointed with the deal and the last owner (not Damon) I put it in the corner of the house and did'nt look at it for 7 months. I even tried a couple times to unload it, but no takers, so I finally decided to restore it.

I started working on it 6 wks. ago, and it's done now except for two new Fromeco Badger switches i'm waiting for from Fromeco.

Does anyone still have one of these planes?, and if so, how are they holding up?.... I'm looking forward to flying mine, and hope it flys good enough for IMAC Basic.

Hi Scott,
Which one did you end up with? I've had 5 of those planes still have one and love it just flew it a few weeks ago. They are some of the fastest 100cc planes I've ever flown. But a Biela 26X12 on it and hold on! 

Also if anyone is looking for one I have a friend who might be selling his. He built it new himself and painted it it is beautiful Amsoil scheme. In fact it was at Joe Nall 2009 which is the same year it was built. 

I know you will love this plane it is a blast!

It is the M&M Zivko one. Or was, the first thing I did when I got it home was take off ALL the stickers, Zivko M&Ms DA......everything! I just never cared for stickers, especially if no one is paying me for the advertising. Still waiting on the new switches to arive. You probably would'nt recognise it anymore, I made SO many changes to it from the way I received it from the last owner... I gutted it and completely rebuilt it like if it were a new kit. Threw out almost all of the electronics, batteries were toast, most of the solder joints were cold soldered and failed as soon as I tugged on them. ALL the servos were sent in to be gone through, and the Spectrum RX that was in it failed to work so it got trashed too, and replaced with a new 1221 on a Smartfly comp12 + a super reg. I could go on and on...... But the bottom line is, every single part has been checked serviced repaired or replaced, and i'm confident now that it will be a safe and fun plane.....

COOL colors, I like it. Mine started out as the one with red and white checkers, but somewhere along the way, one of the previous owners airbrushed light blue stripes into all the white and red checkers So today I started colorsanding all that off to restore the original red/white checkers!! I hope it turns out good...

Sweet..... Ahhhh the memories. Man it sure sounds like she was ridden hard. Glad you are sprucing her all up again. I know you will love the plane. It does amazing harriers and with a Biela 26X12 she is a speed Demon. About 30mph faster than with the 27X10

The Blue Airbrushing over the checkers that are on it were an option on the early planes from Xtreme Compoisite. They had Green, Orange, Yellow, Blue, etc. I had 2 of mine with this on there. 

I totally understand about the Graphics. I'll never be good enough to have anyone pay me to  put  graphics on the plane. I just like the way they look. 

Have fun with the project and please post some Pics and Video of her.

YEP!!! Thats her, funny, the one sticker I left on the plane is the naked chick on the bottom!.. I left her on the plane for two reasons, 1, she does NOT represent or advritise for anyone or anything and 2, DUH, SHE'S NAKED

I also left the vurtual dash/pilot, and you or someone rlse had made helmethead's head turn via a servo, I left this in also (for the time being) Keeping in mind that her new mission will strickly be IMAC, I have set her up with a forward C/G. If it turns out tail heavy the first few hops, working h/h and vurtual dash will be the first things swapped for just the dash and a foam h/h.

Not alot else I could change, as my rebuild has already moved everything forward. I'll upload some snaps to show her current setup..

Here's some snaps of what I had to start with. Pic 1 is the original fuel tank mount, pretty beat up. Pic 2 after mount removal and cleaned up. Pic 3 is the old Smart-Fly mount?, I question marked that because nothing was mounted on that tray when i received the plane, but my comp 12 Smart-Fly fit there perfectly. I actually considered leaving it there and using it but it was broken in several spots and pretty ratty looking. Pic 4 is where the Rudder servo was. Pic 5 is where someone had removed a switch and led and covered this hole with a sticker. Last pic is after all stickers removed except for naked chic and Red Bull on wheel pants.

After what seemed like forever in a series of range tests, including replacing a failed remote RX., and with final range test numbers in the single digits, she was topped up with fuel and she was off. WOW, what a smooth plane. She needed NO trim, none. She will need some tweeking here and there to be competitive in her new career as an IMAC plane, WOW, what a great base plane to start with.

Did'nt get pics or footage today as I did'nt want to break focas on the task at hand. Settled on just two hops today, will take her up again on Thursday, for mor tweeking, and will shoot some field snaps then.
