E-snake -> mixing for turning (3/24/2005 2:25:14 AM)

Hey, My question is, do they make a unit to hook to my receiver that I can mix my tank,s tracks with so I can turn. My radio does not have a mlixing function. Could I use an elevon mixer for planes to hook between 2 ESCs?

Thanks

Yes and no! Theres a lot of fellas buying the Tamiya DMD units and useing those in differing manufacturers tank kits. Of course, those units are'nt cheap! Theres some more enterpriseing folks makeing their own utilizeing relays, etc. Need a mini electronics degree for that though. The cheap solution, and the one i have been exploreing, is to use the electronics boards from those cheap-literally, missle fireing tanks being offered on ebay for about 20 dollars each courtesy of the chinese! . I bought 3 of them and they work great with real good mixing qualities. Another advantage of these, is the fact that their 5 channel tanks/transmitters, with 5 geared motors in them for various uses in your other tank projects! The one, BIG downside to this deal is their all 49mhz.....ON THE SAME CHANNEL! You cant even buy two of these things off ebay with more than 1 channel and expect to operate them together. Quetion i have asked on other boards, is where, and if you can get other crystal sets for 49 or 27 mhz like you can for 72 and 75 mhz?
