Hi Mike: I've used Hitec servos for 3 years with no problems. I just started using the digital 5625 and purchased a programmer. My question, which hopefully will make sense, is about setting the end points on the servo.

I first do a reset, then set the center point with an arm attached to the servo so that the arm is perpendicular to the servo. Now to the end points: The servo maximum travel is greater than the travel that can be controlled from the transmitter, even at 150% travel adjustment. So I reasoned that if I set my transmitter to 150% travel, then adjust the servo end points so they match up with the maximum transmitter travel, that should give me maximum resolution. Is that correct? If not, can you explain the why's and how's of setting the end points.

Thanks

Setting the end points on the servo to the maximum travel you intend to use will give you the maximum resolution. That is correct.

Mike.

Hello,

If you set the endpoints in the servo to something less than maximum, do you have decreased resolution of the servo?

TIA
