Does anyone know if M11 radio will have the same module as the M8? I want to use my Spektrum module with this radio when it arrives.

Thanks

Josh

When I spoke to the Airtronics rep. at the Toledo Hobby Show, he said that the M11 is compatable with the spektrum module manufactured for the M8.

I wish there were more info available on Spektrum and M11 compatibility.

I keep hearing conflicting information. Some say there are extra pins on the M11 but why would Airtronics obsolete all those modules, including their own? I've also heard that the M8 Spektrum module will work in the M11, provided that you send the TX module in for a software update.

I believe the radio is only 2 weeks away (according to my LHS) from arriving in the US, where's all the info?

Im in the market for a new radio myself. Here is what they told me in reply to that same question.

Thank you for your recent email.

The module in the M8 is not the same that is going to be used in the upcoming M11 transmitter. If you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call at 1-877-504-0233.

Thanks,

ThermalRD, thanks for tracking that down.

Why couldn't they put a timeframe in that email for a Spektrum module?
