I just down loaded and started flying the Slow Ride. I reminds me the Grumman Agcats I use to fly in an earlier life. We use to call them "Drag Cats". The saying went "Carry a brick along and in the event of an engine failure throw the brick out and follow it down to your landing spot". At 600 HP they were pretty powerful and flew much like the Slow Ride.

That reminds me of an old X-navy instructor I had years ago that told us, "if making an emergency landing at night, just before touchdown turn on your landing lights, if you don't like what you see, turn them off."

Slow ride is kicking ... love it.

Seemed to be the preferred plane at Toledo in our booth too.

Is there any 3-D flyer that hovers anywhere near as easily as the Monsoon? After struggling for several hours attempting to hover simulator shockies, extras, etc. I was able to hover the Monsoon almost from the first attempt. It seems so much easier than any other simulator model I've ever tried. Perhaps it makes a good stepping stone to the more difficult models.

Anyway......... I'd love to have a real like bird that few nearly as well as the Monsoon.

Can someone mail me the files for the monsoon and slowride ?
I own Aerofly Pro, not the deluxe version.
When I download them from the german site, they are .exe files that don't install.

Thanks in advance

extra flyer: Go to the rc-sims site and find the forum about AFPD airplanes for AFP. It will explain all about it there.

I've heard some people say that there is no way the Slow Ride can fly that slow as on the sim ... but if you don't think the Slow Ride flies as slow on the sim as it does in real life ... this video will prove you wrong.
