RandyRT -> Mills Bomb Plans...please (3/31/2005 10:28 PM)

Hi group, In about 1997 Aviation Modeler published a plan for an interesting stick built plane called a Mills Bomb. A Mills Bomb is the original English name for what we now call a hand grenade. David Boddington designed a small plane for the old Mills diesel engines from earlier times in England. It was mostly spruce sticks with a small enclosed area for the radio. It had a Jedelsky wing and was all in all a pretty neat plane. I built one as a first scratch project and I found the remaining bits (post crash) yesterday. Unfortunately I can't find the plans. Is there anyone who still might have the plans from back then? I'd like to put that one back on the building board now that I have the experience to do it justice. Thanks for listening. All PM's answered. Regards, Randy I put this request on the 1/2A forum and I received a note that David Boddington occasionally appears on this site. If so David please let me know how I can get the plan to build another of these great little planes. RTR
