Has anyone got one of theses yet? It looks like a good deal for $19.95 as long as it flies as good as it looks.

I just ordered two and two SK400XT-ESSKAY 400XT Outrunner Brushless motors. I hope the motors will be good enough to get things going. This is my first step into E-3D. I fly glo-3D and am looking for an alternative to $30/gal fuel and long waits and trips to the flying field.

My son lost interest in R/C planes because of the amount of time and money, when we saw the ease of the new profile 3-D's and the ability to hover and fly indoors or in the front yard we were sold. I will let you know how things turn out when I get the planes. Now I just have to get about $300 worth of E-flight stuff to get the things in the air, we dont even have a Li-Poly charger we are starting from scratch.

Has anyone used the SK400XT-ESSKAY 400XT Outrunner Brushless motors from Hobby Lobby? I figured they will at least get the planes in the air and get my son flying again.

Big Barry,

I have to HIGHLY recommend the Triton charger from Great Planes. It is hands down the best one out there. It will literally charge anything. Easy to set-up, and you can change between types, voltages, and amps in seconds. Its become a integral part of my flying kit. Its one of those rare products that screams "I was designed by flyers not some dungeon engineer". Great Planes gets two thumbs up for this one. They clearly did some SPECTACULAR outstanding market research before designing it.

Thanks I looked at that charger and I will probly end up getting it. In the mean time I picked up the Celectra 1-3 cell charger from E-flite, it was only $45 and it will get us started. Im going to use HS-55's, E-flite 20 amp esc, Esskay 400 XT outrunner, GWS R-6NII, Thunder Power 3s 900 mah, APC 10x3.8. I got an e-mail from Hobby Lobby and they said that the Yak in the Video used the 400 XT motor. I cant wait they are supposed to arrive tomarrow. Dont tell me you got the Triton charger for $45. LOL

How long did it take you to get it in the air? I was thinking that I could get it together in about 4-5 hours, does that sound about right?

Got it today and I have it all put together except the hardware. I will mount everything in the morning and fly it in the afternoon or when ever it gets done. The Lipo is charged I have some soldering to do and it should be in the air soon. Watch the excelerator, I melted mine in some places, white glue works well in some areas. Do you guys use thin CA or medium or thick? I got thin but I was thinking mabey medium would be better.
