Status: offline 		Before sept 11th you used to be able to get a machine thru by checking it in with a skycap,along with the statement that "the model is a model for a toy show",this usually worked,along with a 10 dollar bill in the hand of a skycap...........
After the worlds, and IRCHA a lot of the teams had to send theyre machines back via standard airfreight due to the situation at hand.......
I know a few guys had brought up the non haz rules for bringing theyre machines witht them on comm flights and the final rule was bringing the machine on board was at the discretion of the airline,rules or no rules,thats why a lot of em shipped em, thru other channels back to europe,asia etc. via air cargo co's.
It'd be interesting to see what the policy is now though.....

I just sent mine down UPS Ground to FLA $36.00 with insurance thats cheaper than taking a chance of not getting on plane nowadays
