Status: offline 		Hi all, This is probably an obvious answer but just making sure. I have some Cool Power 15% heli fuel. Their website states it is 15% nitro and 17% synthetic. I need 20% synthetic. So do I need to add 3.84 oz. of oil per gallon to bring it up to 20%? Seems like alot of oil when you look at it in a measuring cup.

Status: offline 		A gallon is 128 oz so 1% is 1.28 oz. Your numbers are close enough for your purposes. There are more accurate ways to do it, but for small percentage changes this is fine.

Status: offline 		To increase the oil content from 17% to 20% (by volume) add 4.8 oz of oil to a gallon of the 17% fuel. 3.84 oz will raise the oil content to about 19.4%
