Status: offline 		I ran into something pretty cool that I'd like to get your opinion on.

Call me sheltered, but this is the first time I've seen this type of hinge. The French company (Topmodel.fr) has two types of "swingee" type hinges - the KDH and Horst model.

No picture is offered for the KDH model although it appears slightly bigger in their hardcopy catalog and has a threaded rod mechanism instead of being equipped with a ball link, as standard on the Horst.

The principle looks rather cool in that you can fully integrate the flap/aileron control linkage and not have unsightly control horns/linkage protuding from your wing.

Any experience with this type of hinge mechanism? You thoughts? Concerns?
