Hi to all home-made model enthusiasts.

Here is a webpage I built to easily design any fixed-wing model aircraft; it's called "Sweet Purple Planes" :

Computation includes MAC, CG, stability, flight speed and Power input.

Moreover, a sketch of your project is drawn automatically .

It should work well on most common browsers (IE6, FF1.5 and Safari).
However, if you detect any bug, let me know !! :

The page is here :

If you like it, don't forget to send pictures of models designed with SPP !

Bye,

Manu

here is one for a effective dihedral angle calculator I've also got a good c/g locator if I can relocate the file I'll post it.

The MMAA site has change and some things moved around, you can find the Effective Dihedral Angle Calculator here:

Other links in this thread that have changed (on the mmaa site):

Servo Torque Calculator: http://mmaa-modelairplanes.org/tools/servotorquecalculator.htm

All the tools listed for the coloradogliders site can be found in our downloads section as well.

RCadvisor.com has had an airfoil analyzer since day one. It provides a full analysis at any angle of attack and Reynolds number. I have over 500 airfoils preloaded right now (more soon!).

I also have a simplified airframe analysis that nevertheless yields good results. A full wing analysis module is in the works.
