I just brought a TC3+ and I have 2 questions.

I have been reading the post on this forum and every one says that a tc3 is a good car for beginners, that cool and all that but can I use this same car if I wanted to get into racing professionally.

My second question is how do I stop the car from spinning out, no mater the direction I try to turn all i get are donuts how do I stop that.

For racing professionally: If you are to race professionally, you will receive sponsors and with the stuff the give, you could turn a box of crayons into a competition-dominating machine.

And for the doughnuts: I thought these things had four-wheel drive...?

yes the NTC3 can be a very competive car when it comes to racing........

second about the spinning issue part if not all of the promblem could be throttle control and the rate of which you turn and how hard the turn is ...... what type of raido are you using im assuming its the orginal right ........ there are radios that offer control of how fast and far the servos throw is and this helps some with the control but alot of it is how you drive try to use more control with the throttle and learn the tire breaking points also think about diffrent tires the ones that come stock arent that good except for bashing the best advice though is to DRIVE ...... AND DRIVE SOME MORE............. AND FINALLY DRIVE ALOT MORE

Ahh... donuts. My advice is to practice your throttle control a while before making any adjustments. Tires/inserts, differential setting, spring stiffness... all can cause spinouts. So it helps to have had some more practice to know how much of it is inexperience. (I speak from experience with inexperience).

My other advice is to go to your LHS and see who races in your area. Most folk at the track are very helpful. Plus I bought the #2382 Complete Tuning Guide: NTC3. It helped me a ton! You can get that info for free at varios locations on the web but it was worth the $5.95 to have it in one download.

Have fun, the NTC3 is a great car!

Increasing rear toe-in will increase rear traction, reducing the possibility of spinning out under cornering. Also, when you nail the throttle coming out of a corner, the toe-in will keep the back of the car in check, pointing it in a straight line and stopping it wandering all over the place.

*The more rear toe-in you have the more rear traction you will have (to a point), but you will suffer from increased tire wear.

As for camber, i run 0degrees (tyres completely flat on surface) which seems to work well (largest surface area contact patch). For just driving around leave it at 0degrees (also allows your tyres to wear evenly, therefore lasting longer), as for performance (if racing) you may want some camber, but i do not know what would work.

Well think of it this way: When you drive an actual car and if you were to turn as hard as you could to the left and floor it, guess what happens? You get some nice donut action, right? These cars would be even worse because of the power to weight ratio. Scale it up to its full size and youve got something to compete with fighter jets haha. So all-in-all, you've just got to learn how to drive the car. Give it some time and practice and donuts will soon enough leave your vocabulary (except when you're hungry).

try adding a little toe in in the front. this will slow the turning down a bit but will also increase turning radius, thus either leaning to slide/drift around tight turns. might want losen up the rear diff just a tiny bit. doing that will send more power to the front. bwe careful not to loosen it to much which will cause excess heat

i would start like other say and get some throttle control, then maybe try a little toe-in in the front. and last but not least try going slower around the track and watch your laptimes actually get faster by going SLOWER

I replaced my wheels and tyres on my NTC3+ for some fast tyres foams and this has transformed the grip, the standard tyres arent great imho.
