Status: offline 		A friend of mine is running a g38 on his and it hauls it around great no more power needed but keep in mine t;he g38 is a heavy motor compared to fpe and Brisons and the rest of the newer gassers . I am not sure if tail weight was needed or not on his , Good luck

Status: offline 		There is one of these at one of the 2 clubs I fly at with a Brison 2.4 in it which with the rudder and elevator servos in the tail seems to have balanced out with little or no added weight. He did a very good job of reinforcing the servo mounts in the wing panels as well which this plane neeeds as the stock servo mounting system is weak. The plane flies well with good vertical authority but I have only seen it fly a few times and that was when the kit first became available. The owner also reinforced the firewall with a system of pinning with dowels and the use of fiberglass cloth. I have not seen the owner in quite some time so I have no idea how well it held up with this gas engine on it. Although the G38 is of similar displacement I think it will be heavier and a little less powerful than the Brison 2.4. Conversely at the other club a fellow is flying the World Models 120 size Cap 232 with a G38 and is happy with it and the way it handles. Again with servos in he tail. My observation was that it was a bit heavy flying and seemed to land a tad hotter than pehaps it should.

It weighs as much as the ZDZ-80.

The SIG 300xs can balance easily with a motor half that weight.

The price is tempting... but...

Status: offline 		I'm the person that BAS was talking about..G-38 is enough power for me,but with this engine,it weights 15 Ibs..Had to add tail weight..flies very good,but landings are a little hotter than I expected...do need power to land...It likes to bounce on landing.....good luck

I had a Goldberg Stadaucher with a bad bouncing problem. I hated it! Is there any remidy for this problem? Softer gear, bigger wheels ect...

Try harder wheels...soft type don't get it....don't know the size of your wheels on your plane.....try the harder wheels first.....then try 1/4" larger wheels, again the hard type....every plane lands differnet.....my 300, I damn near have to 3 point it to avoid the bounce...hope this helps
