Ok i just got my car 2 days ago. and i have broke it 2 times. I broke the front left A arm and i did something to my tranny cause now it grinds when i loosen the slipper spring on the fpur gear. but when i tighten it, it stops grinding. so i think that i am going to get some new gears. ok here is what i got in my XXX T Sport RTR

Reedy Flashpoint 15x2 - way faster then the orginal trinity 19t
graphite front A arms (after the break)
30% stiffer springs in the back.
I got some Gp 3300s with deans being sent from Elmo6s PROMO BUD lol

tha is it for now everything else is stock. now i am running my friends 1500 sanyo bats. those things suck i can't run them over 10 min. my friend has a rc10t4 and he can run his for like 20 min. on the same bat. is it my esc that is sucking all the power? we also built a track over here cause we are going to make our own season. there are about 9 ppl with cars now and it is going to be more soon. its spreading like wild fire over here in Iraq Elvis I will send you some pics of my car and our tracks that we are building. We have one half dirt half cement. and then we are going to make a oval track outta dirt and a all dirt track and a all cement track. I LOVE MY CAR.

Ok dont take my full word for it, but how ive seen it discussed it stonger, yet brittle. I guess its kinda hard to explain it like that.

I take it as if it land correctly then its stronger, if it lands on one tire or does a complete hard landing with a flip it could be taken out. So what do you take from this.... try and learn. If it ends up weaker than what you need it for go back to plastic or alum.

I personaly have found it a little tougher.

Graphite is not stronger, nor lighter. It is simply stiffer. It doesn't flex, and that makes it fantastic for tuning. However, it also makes it terrible for bashing because what does not bend, must break.

You thought wrong. It MIGHT be 1-2% lighter, but for offroad, that's meaningless. The tuning stability is the big attraction for Graphite.

well i held a plastic chassis and a graphite chassis and there was a huge diference in weight. like really big dif. Maybe it was that the plastic one was a rustler and the graphite one was a rc10t4. that could be why there was such a huge dif cause they are such dif cars. so we mainly offroad over here what kinda chassis would be the best. i looked at aluminium for the xxx t and i can't seem to find any aluminuim anything for it. you guys have a website for upgrades for the xxx t would be great cause i have to order a new diferential. mine is going to ****.

Well yeah, the T4 is a VERY light truck and the Rustler is a friggin tank. But, if you compare a T4 composite to a T4 "carbon", you'll find they're within a couple % of each other.

For the aluminum XXX-T parts, Dynamite has some at http://www.dynamiterc.com/Search/Default.aspx?SearchTerm=xxx-t as does Tier1.. Their page seems to be down, so they might be out of business.. It's usually at http://www.tier1motorsports.com

Trinity sells the aluminum pivot blocks.

Honestly though, the XXX-T is tough enough on it's own. It doesn't NEED many Al parts. I personally replaced my pivot blocks, but not the rest. That's just extra weight. Now, if you are bashing, go for it.

Well I don't really want to go with aluminium parts because they are heavy and I don't try to bash it to much. I mean we do have jumps and stuff on our track but usually have a race everyday. Racing is our biggest thing we do here. We are setting up trakcs slowly everyday.
Now what I am having problems with is getting traction with my rear tires. I have tried putting the 30% stiffer springs in the back and that did not seem to work. I got that Reedy Flashpoin 15x2 and the thing rips. Now I just changed my springs around put the stiffer ones in the front and and the others in the back. I also made a adjustment as to wear my front shocks hook up to the Arms. I put them as far out as they go. I am about to go try it and see how it works. I will tell you guys the results. And if there are some good tires out there that I need to know of then please tell me. I have the stock ones.
