he has them on ebay now and then, there not on there all the time.

Ive got them in my jato, so far they have taken the punishment of a Mach 427, STS28, Surefire32 (all big blocks) and a 1/8th NEU truggy brushless motor runnnin on 8000Mah 3S lipos, the brushless is about 2 times the power of any of the other motors, it was a beast

you rock, scotty!! but serouioiuouiuioiusly If this will be your first nitro st, get the 2.5r. its still hella fast, powerfull, and fun. when you blow up that motor, get a 3.3

Its not my first I have a firestorm and I want to upgrade to a Jato but I have seen cars with 2.5's and 2.5r's and I didn't know if they were the same motor and if they weren't the same how much of a difference power-wise there was between the "r" and the 3.3 which is what I'm looking for.
BTW: I kinda figured out the .5
Thanks

i havent had a single problem with these gears and im sure theyre lighter.

Well i have a problem and i dont know where to start. Over the winter i put new moabs on my jato i stretched them over my 2.8 wheels. i notice when i spin the tire by hand they wobble. well today i took it out there is still about 4 feet of snow on the ground but i found a little patch of hot top to try it out. heres my problem i can not hold it WOT without it flipping on its top. i try to feather it then punch it like i always have but now as soon as i punch it it rolls over. its not rolling over from doing a wheelie either it just flips on its top kind of like a barrel roll. . its never done this before so my question is do you think it can be from the new tires or ????

Yakfish, if your switching from a firestorm to get more speed, id go with the 3.3 jato. The 2.5 is fast with the 2 speed, but if you like speed I would go all the way and just get something you wont get tired of.

tires arent gonna make your car flip over with wot. when you stretched your moabs did it make much of a difference in the profile of the tire?
