check the wheels looking from the top of the car and make sure the back 2 wheels point in the same direction and the front 2 wheels point in the same direction. If yes then lift the front of the car and spin the wheels one at a time does one spin slower than the other ? If no then lift the back pick one wheel and spin it forward , do both rotate forward ? if yes do it backwards do both rotate backwards ? if yes then find some room and roll the truck on the ground what does it do ? go straight ? , to the left ? to the right ? let me know .

If I was you I would adjust your slipper clutch and try using the same gears that originally came with the truck. I was out at a track today , which I have never been at , and my Jato took a beating . NOTHING BROKE OR STRIPPED . I have an idea now on how to control the jumps but I must have flipped and rolled my JATO 50 times before landing on all four wheels ,which is why the slipper clutch is need to keep the teeth from breaking.

Holding the car , you should be able to turn the big gear with the spring and nut in front about 3 quarters of a turn before you see the whell start to slip or turn.

i just went and tried to tighten it and it was all the way snug i mean i did not force it or any thing but i lossed it up some ill see how it works out that spur gear shuld be here monday if i leave it like that with that steel one and have really fast acceleration think it would mess up the trany ?

were you able to hold the car and turn the gear 3/4 of a turn beforethe wheels attempted to move ? Yea if it was all the way tight you got lucky by ruining the gears. A guy has an electric one and destroyed is mass differential. and tranny gears.

Hi, just brok my 3.3 engine, and now I need a new one. Some tips?

What about this? http://www.rcplanet.com/O_S_18TZ_TX_w_Rotary_Carb_p/osm11943.htm

Do I need more parts?, or will it just fit right in?

you will need the slide carb version..

you could TRY to make the rotary carb work, but getting the linkages to work right would be hard
