i went out and was just messin the the yard with my jato and it seem to hesitate but it don't seem to be the motor it like its a delay in my recever or something i got it uesed and it has the rechargeable bat. on the jato itself could that bat. be going out? but the wheels seem to move good and the throttle seems to move strong i don't know if it the servo going out or what ill see what yall think

To start I would take off the lid and -with the engine not running- check the throttle servos response. If your battery is charged and steering response is good but the throttle response is slow, it just may be the servo. If so I would just upgrade to a Traxxas 2055. They are like $9 on ebay. If you still believe the throttle is strong then its your tune. I'm going to say its a lean LSN.

the steering servo is high torque..

some 2.2 tires can stretch onto 2.8 rims, but there are some that dont...just depends

well gents im in a bind, I mustve jinxed myself i previously commented on brass tranny gears about how perfect and no problems i was experiencing but i ate their lunch this past weekend, truck was running in its quick orderly fashion when i made a high speed pass, then turned to come back towards me when something went wrong jato stopped moving it was far away so i figured it was out of gas or had cut off but o my surprised as i got up to it it was still running raced the throttle couple times no movement so i put it up started playing with my gst when i got home exterior wise everything was copasthetic so i removed dif cap good their removed dif. to see looked like a menage a trois of tranny gears all three tranny gears were meshed into one another like one smooth melted gear lol so i think im going to go bck stock and sell my jato ive had lots of fun but thinking about going electric just to try it out

The right front wheel on my Jato is pointing out when the left one is straight. How can i fix it so they are in line? and also what tires do you recommend for off road?

adjust the steering turnbuckle.

Its the silver bar leading to the wheel, not the upper one, that adjust camber not toe

you want to adjust the toe of that wheel, easiest way is turn the radio etc on so that the servo is in its neutral position, then in the middle of the silver turnbuckle theres like a hex, you should have got a tool with the jato to adjust it, or just use some pliars, 1 way makes the wheel point more outwards (more toe out) The other makes it move inwards (increasing Toe in) U will notice when u start adjusting, if it goes outwards, turn it the other way

for just offroad i would have to say proline agitator rims for front and rear, with Proline edges on the front and Proline Gladiators on the rear.

I run Proline Road rages on Proline agitators onroad, and Proline edges and glads on agitators for offroad. That way your offroad tyres last much longer, even though with my truck, im running a Big block Mach 427 (.26) so tyres dont last long anyway lol

have you tried loosening the screws that hold the engine? Just make sure you get the mesh right and relocktite the screws...

yeah but even after I loosen the screws its still going to be in the same spot. I need to move it back an 1/8 of an inch. Or I need a smaller clutch bell.
