it can cause an eratic idle, and cut out at top end, and depending on how bad the air leak may be it could bog out at low end especially when you go to hit the throttle because then it gets an overload of air. have you found the air leak yet ?

I actually have about 3 gallons through it. The engine is going on its second year. Still holds a tune and still has very good pinch on it.

I've been thinking of upgrading to 2.4 ghz mostly to avoid frequency conflicts. Anyone have any recommendations? Traxxas has a good deal on their 2.4. You trade in your old transmitter and they will give you a new 2.4 for about $65.00. I have looked on ebay but the ones that are not too expensive are from companies I have never heard of.

Hey I'm new to nitro got my Jato 2.5 a couple days ago. It run great once I get it started. Today I attempted to start it about 50 times(pull start) before it even began to start. And when it starts it stalls almost right away. And once its started and runs for a couple minutes it starts right back up on the first pull. Yesterday it was high 90's (temperature in the air) today it was 70's. What can i do to make it run, or start on the first or second pull
Thanks

How long are your gears lasting when you rebuild the tranny? One thing that worked for me was losening the slipper a bit.
