cool... I have the lone stars too. they are on my rustler. the rustler with the suzuki body on rc-parts.com's gallery is mine...

bigmike hit it right on. use the #10 washers and you will be fine.

hi, my name is Dean, and i got a jato on the way.....this will be my first serious rc car/truck....my friend has a ofna LS GT PRO buggy (thats best i remember his description) and says the jato wont compete with it, i reserached it alittle and the only ofna buggies i found go around 50 mph while the jato goes 55ish...i didnt know if these two cars were competive with each other up through to the top end....or if he's just going to walk away at first then i play catch up on top end or vise versa....anyway....im from west texas(Odessa), dry and hot (usually) i plan on playing alittle on pavement, but mostly on a home made track i plan on making in the soon to be future.....im giving the conditions of the uses, cause im wondering witch tires to use (front and rear) for my application....

Dean

m0rris - you glue inside the groove where the tire fits on to the rim -

speed_racer - the 1/8th scale buggy has an advantage by beeing AWD. They are very fast off the line. Now that is not to say it can/will beat a jato. But you will have to learn good throttle response and learn the truck. I can say this.... My jato can not touch my TTR S3 off the line, but the Jato is faster on the top end. With my TTR S3 I can just punch it and it will hook up with the AWD. The Jato will just spin out if you just punch it. But with some pratice and finding the right set up for where you drive you will compete nicely with him and win if you can get to top speed.

Hey...what o.s. 18 engine bolts right into the jato and would give me better performance than the trx2.5 because i have heard a lot of bad things bout the trx.

well i drove my freinds ofna buggy..and i wasnt impressed....im hoping the jato will be alittle faster which i believe it will be, i just need alittle practice to get used to it....i was also wandering what fuel to use....20% or 33% in my jato...and if the fuel brand is that big of a deal, i know the manufacture wants you to use their brand..........but is there really a better or worse brand..if so..which are they..thanks for help guys
