I am using a Powerbox 40/24 for a project and want to take advantage of the redundant power, but don't want two huge batteries to weigh the plane down..

I have 8, 8611 servos with 2 on rudder. Worst case I would like to use one 4800 mAh Li-Ion and one 2400 mAh Li-Ion instead of 2 4800's

Best case I would like to use 2, 2400's but with 8 8611s, I am afraid there might not be enough power.

The aircraft designer (QQ) states to use one 4800 mah battery, but I don't like that idea too much.

Has anyone used two different capacities (same chemistry and voltage) on a powerbox, or even just on straight regs ??

Answered today by Kevin at AI.... not a problem as long as they are the same chem, same voltage... as I thought!
